I hereby issue this formal counterstatement regarding my interactions with World Wide Scholarships Group PTY (WWS) and its alleged CEO Munyaradzi Nkosana Wilbert Maraire, in light of serious misrepresentation, breach of contract, and attempted coercion. This statement is made in the interest of transparency, compliance, and the protection of my professional reputation.

  1. Misrepresentation of Legal Authority and Corporate Status

Mr. Munyaradzi Maraire repeatedly presented himself to me as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and legally authorized representative of WWS. This representation is factually and legally incorrect. According to official records, Mr. Maraire resigned as Director on 30 September 2022, and WWS was not in good legal standing at the time of signing the Consultancy Agreement dated 10 March 2025. The company lacked the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements and therefore should not have executed the contract.

  1. Deceptive Invitation to South Africa

Based on the aforementioned agreement, I was invited to South Africa under false pretenses. The invitation was framed as part of a legitimate partnership to organize the “Nelson Mandela Memorial Tournament.” In reality, WWS was not legally authorized, had no operational infrastructure, and failed to meet basic standards of corporate and contractual legitimacy. The travel arrangements were initiated by WWS despite its lack of legal and financial capacity to fulfill the terms.

  1. Breach of Contractual Obligations

WWS failed to honor any of its contractual obligations. The agreement explicitly stated that the company would cover travel, accommodation, and daily expenses for the duration of my visit. None of these commitments were fulfilled. No project activities were executed, and the communication from WWS was inconsistent, misleading, and unprofessional. The partnership lacked transparency, accountability, and operational credibility.

  1. Attempted Coercion and Violations of FIFA Regulations

Following my return from South Africa, I was subjected to pressure and threats by WWS, demanding that all future projects be conducted exclusively under its brand. These demands were accompanied by threats to involve FIFA and to publicly discredit me. Such conduct constitutes attempted coercion and is in direct violation of FIFA Match Agent Regulations, particularly regarding independence, neutrality, and avoidance of conflicts of interest. As a licensed FIFA Match Agent, I am bound by strict ethical and regulatory standards, which WWS attempted to undermine.

  1. Disclosure for Compliance and Transparency

In the interest of compliance, transparency, and professional integrity, I am publicly releasing the Disclosure Certificate of WWS. This document confirms the company’s legal status and supports the factual basis of this counterstatement. It is essential that stakeholders, partners, and institutions are made aware of the true nature of WWS’s corporate standing and conduct.

  1. Legal Reservations and Public Disassociation

I hereby formally and publicly disassociate myself from WWS and Mr. Maraire. The collaboration was based on fraudulent representation, legal invalidity, and unethical pressure tactics. I reserve all rights to pursue civil and criminal legal action against the parties involved, including but not limited to claims for damages, reputational harm, and breach of contract.

This counterstatement is issued to inform business partners, football institutions, regulatory bodies, and the public of the facts surrounding this matter and to prevent further misrepresentation or reputational damage.
